Overview

The Contacts menu in Askyura functions as a center for managing customer or user data that interacts with your system. This feature makes it easy for you to view, add, group, and organize contacts so that communication and services can run more efficiently. There are several ways for us to get contact from visitors, including:

  • Through the prechat form that has been set on the widget
  • Adding contact manually by the agent

Usefulness of the Contacts Menu in Askyura Workflow

This menu has an important role in the Askyura ecosystem because:

  • Become a central customer database that is integrated with other features such as Chat, Tickets, and Bot.
  • Makes it easy to track interactions between customers, such as ongoing conversations or ticket history.
  • Allows grouping of customers based on certain labels or attributes, so that the support or marketing team can target communication more precisely.

Contact Overview Main View

On the main page of the Contacts menu, users can see a list of contacts that have been registered in the system. If there is no data, the page will display the message "There is No Data".

This main view consists of several important parts:

  • Search Bar (Find contacts ...)

    Used to search for specific contacts by name, phone number, or email.

  • Filter Buttons (Label & Status)

    • Labels: Filter contacts based on labels or categories that have been given (for example: premium customers, prospective customers, etc.).
    • Status: Filter contacts based on active or inactive status.
  • Contact List Table

    Contains the main information columns:

    • Name: The name of the contact.
    • Phone Number: The contact's phone number.
    • Email: The contact's email address.
    • Label(s): The category or tag assigned to the contact.
    • Status: The active/inactive status of the contact.
  • Pagination Control (Entries per page)

    Determines the number of contacts displayed per page and allows users to move between pages if the contact list is large.

  • Action Button on the Top Right:

    • Create new Contact: Manually add a new contact.
    • Import Contacts: Imports a lot of contact data at once, usually via a (.csv) file.
